Sacrifices of doctors, nurses, sanitary workers and govt employees during covid-19 lockdown by Niharika

Well! We all know the present situation where we are all staying at home and breathing happily but there is something important which we need to discuss. It’s about the real superstars behind the scene. Superstars as in doctors, nurses, sanitary workers and the policemen around us. These people are our armour who are protecting us from the very minute creature neglecting well being. Let’s see this scenario from the other side of the coin.

We all know that there is a saying which states that the doctor profession is known as Nobel profession and now we can feel the truth in that saying.

Doctors leaving their family behind, there health behind, irrespective of the time, irrespective of the climate, working soo hard to save our souls. It’s way tough to stay away from family, friends and our loved ones but these human beings(doctors) are least bothered about all these and the only thing they are worried about is to treat people affected by this virus. We know that we don’t have enough PPE kits. Inspite of personal protection doctors are working and they are being attacked. The real daredevils

A real mother

I would like to tell you a story of a nurse. She lost her husband a few years back and now she is the only source to her Children. As we all know every nurse irrespective of there post is on duty during this lockdown likewise she is also on her daily duty. But here, the heartbreaking scene comes into picture that she is weeping every day as she is not allowing her children to stay with her. This is unpleased by her children. Though she is in home quarantine (locking herself in a room) after her duty hours. She had an option to leave her job and stay home but instead of embracing her children in her arms,  she chooses to work for the unknowns staying away from her children.

Nurses and midwives are taking care of newborns so that infants are not exposed to the virus. True motherhood

Sanitary workers the foot soldiers in this fight. Foot soldiers, the support to stand firm. Sanitary worker is the one who keeps our surroundings clean and sustainable. With very less education these people proved that they are no less than anyone in this war against COVID-19. We are sheltered under the safety of our homes and the comfort of social distancing but these people even after knowing that they can be exposed to the virus during spraying and cleaning process though they are not running away to save their life’s because of their sense of responsibility, compassion and deep expertise.

Responsibilities

Cops are those who stood on the front line to save us. Many of them are away from their homes staying in a rent room to work for more hours during this pandemic, eating the food which is being distributed to them on roads. A cop has an option to stay home and have a good food prepared by his mother or wife despite that they choose to work extra for our well being. We are in our homes under a roof but the cops are on roads during this hot summer paying for our irresponsibility of not staying home.

We should salute to these unsung heroes of this battle against COVID-19 and respect them for the sacrifices and love towards us by staying home and helping them to serve our nation
